Make a list of how many hours you think you will sink into each mode, turn those hours into percent based on total hours, and assign character slots accordingly. Suggestion to anyone who think they will need more slots: If you’re planning on playing ladder, non-ladder, regular and hardcore, you’re most likely going to have to compromise. My guess is that we will be limited to 18 characters, like Piff and MissCheetah said.
Basically, anywhere between 8-13 characters. I’m only going to play regular non-ladder, and this is roughly my collection of characters for it.
